Turner, Kimberly Anne (“Kim”)
Kim entered into rest, peacefully surrounded by her family on January 1, 2019 at the age of 48. Beloved and devoted mother of Joel, Jessica, Jennah, Jadon and Reeses. Forever cherished and missed by her sister Colleen Turner (Jennifer Davino) and brother Skip Turner. Adored Nanny of Liam Daly, Aaliyah Madley, Isaiah Unelli, and another granddaughter arriving in March. Loved by Terence Daly & Brendan Driscoll. Best friend and chosen sister of Christine Flowers. Admired Aunt of Rebecca, Christian and Dawson. Treasured Great Aunt of Landen Turner. Survived by her mother Carol Dickie, her father Larry Turner and cherished friend Rochelle Maxwell. Kim will be greatly missed by many other caring family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Ellite and Dr. Hirte and the staff of the Juravinski Cancer Centre for their outstanding care and compassion. A special thank you to Vanessa Ruftan and the palliative team from Bayshore Nursing for their phenomenal and committed care for Kim. Friends will be received at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1919 King Street East, Hamilton, ON L8K 1V9 on Saturday, January 5th from 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, January 6th at 11am. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ovarian Cancer (Ovariancanada.org) or Cancer Assistance Program would be appreciated by the family.
